125 West 25th Street is a twelve-story former industrial building that was gut-renovated into a Class A loft-style creative office building. The property was acquired out of bankruptcy after the prior owner failed to redevelop the asset as a hotel and was subject to a mortgage foreclosure. The renovation included constructing new cores to create a very efficient dual side-core floor-plate, expanding the windows, adding curtain wall to the first three floors to enable retail uses, creating a new lobby, and building a penthouse level with an expansive terrace.
