The Allen, located in Kissimmee, Florida (20 miles south of Orlando), will be developed into a luxury multifamily rental community consisting of 312 residential units. Construction on the first phase which consists of approximately 8-acres commenced in March 2023. GreenBarn and its partners were awarded an RFP from the City of Kissimmee on a 20-acre assemblage broken into multiple phases. As part of the RFP process, the mechanics and terms of a public-private partnership with the City were finalized. Phase I will be developed as a four-story building, featuring a “double-donut” design and premium amenities including but not limited to a fitness facility, swimming pool, co-working spaces, and a golf simulator. 5% of the overall units in Phase I will be allocated towards affordable housing for residents earning 80% AMI. Future phases of the development plan present the opportunity to build additional residential units and commercial areas.
The property is ideally situated within Kissimmee’s Medical Arts District, an area which is experiencing above-average levels of job growth and directly adjacent to the Osceola Regional Medical Center, a major employer in the market.
